StitchCraft Studio is a cross-stitch chart designer. It is built to work without accounts and without sending your work anywhere. This policy explains the little data that is involved.
Your photos and projects stay on your device
Importing a photo, generating a chart, editing, and saving a
.scstudio project all happen entirely on your device — in the
app on desktop, or in your browser on the web version. Your images
and projects are never uploaded to us or to any third party. We
operate no servers that receive your content.
No analytics, no tracking
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no cookies for tracking. We do not build a profile of you.
Purchases and licensing
- Mac App Store version: the PDF-export unlock is an Apple In-App Purchase handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details. See Apple’s privacy policy for how Apple handles purchases.
- Direct download & web version: purchases and license keys are handled by our reseller (Merchant of Record), Lemon Squeezy, whose privacy policy governs your payment data. To activate a license, the app sends your license key and a device label (your computer’s name, or your browser name on the web) to Lemon Squeezy over an encrypted connection, so the same key can be limited to a few devices. Nothing else is transmitted.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change and the new version will be posted at this URL.
